Smokie
The black flames are only warm to the touch, but anything that remains in contact with them slowly melts from the inside. Hold some cheese above them, and it becomes a true delicacy.

When activated, uses its sharp sense of smell to detect nearby Chromite. While fighting together, a large amount of Chromite is obtained.
Habitat
Smokie can be found throughout the northern half of the Scorched Hill on Feybreak. It can spawn either alone or in a pair. Smokie is passive and will flee when it sees the player, though it will fight back when attacked. Additionally, as it is a Dark-element Pal, it does not sleep at night.

Overview
Smokie (Japanese: クロマル Kuromaru) is a Dark-element Pal. Smokie is a small, canine Pal with mostly black fur with some red and grey highlights. It also has wispy grey smoke coming from its head and on its tail.
